# User Limit Expansion

> Raise the 400-athlete cap and the recipient limits on announcements, SMS, and email as your organization grows

Every CoachIQ organization starts with room for **400 athletes**, and announcements, mass SMS, and mass email are capped to match. Most coaching businesses never get close. Facilities, academies, and multi-team clubs do, and when they do, the limit shows up as a hard stop at the worst moment: a sign-up that won't save, or an announcement that can't reach the whole roster.

The **User Limit Expansion** Power-Up raises those caps so your organization keeps growing without workarounds.

## What it raises

The four limits move together, so once expanded you can message your whole organization in one send.

## Who it's for

* **Facilities and academies** with several teams or programs under one organization
* **Clubs running seasonal registration** whose roster passes 400 for part of the year
* **Organizations that message everyone at once** and keep splitting announcements into batches

  Not sure whether you need it? Check **People → Clients** for your current count. If you're within a season of 400, get it set up before registration opens rather than during it.

## How to get it

    Contact the CoachIQ team and let us know you'd like your limits raised. Tell us roughly how many athletes you expect over the next year so we set the new cap with headroom.

  <Step title="Keep going">
    Once applied, sign-ups, announcements, SMS, and email work as before, just with the higher ceiling. Nothing changes for your athletes.

## Common questions

  <Accordion title="What happens when I hit 400 without the Power-Up?">
    New athletes can't be added past the cap, and an announcement, SMS, or email to more than 400 recipients can't be sent in one go. Existing athletes and bookings are unaffected.

  <Accordion title="Does this change my SMS credits?">
    No. SMS credits are billed per message segment as before; see [SMS credits](/inbox/sms-credits). The Power-Up raises how many people one send can reach, not how sends are billed.

    Pricing depends on the size you're growing to. Contact the team and we'll confirm details for your organization.
