How to Import Contacts into CoachIQ

Importing your contacts into CoachIQ is a straightforward process. Follow these steps to ensure your contacts are uploaded correctly into the system.

Step 1: Access Import Contacts

To begin, navigate to your settings by clicking on the Settings option in your CoachIQ dashboard. Once you are in settings, locate and select the Import Contacts feature.

Step 2: Prepare Your Contact File

Your contact file needs to be formatted correctly to ensure a successful import. The required format is a CSV file that includes the following fields:

  • Email Address

  • Primary Phone

  • First Name

  • Last Name

  • Tags (if applicable)

For your convenience, a pre-formatted CSV template is available for download. This template will guide you in structuring your contacts correctly.

Step 3: Download the CSV Template

Click on the provided link to download the CSV template. This file serves as a guide to help you format your contacts appropriately.

Step 4: Populate Your CSV File

Fill in your CSV file with your contact data. Ensure that each column corresponds to the appropriate field as described in the template.

Step 5: Upload Your CSV File

Once your CSV file is ready, return to the Import Contacts section in the settings. Drag and drop your CSV file into the upload area, or use the file chooser to select and upload your file manually.

Step 6: Verify and Import

After uploading, the system will automatically check if the CSV file is formatted correctly. You will be able to see a preview confirming whether each field, such as the first name, last name, and phone number, has been recognized properly. If there are any issues, such as missing phone numbers, make the necessary corrections in your CSV file and upload it again.

If all fields are correct, proceed to import the contacts. Note that the import time will vary depending on the number of contacts being uploaded.

Step 7: Completion

Once the import process is complete, your contacts will be successfully integrated into CoachIQ. You can now start using these contacts within your workflows.
