What are announcements?
Announcements are your broadcast system for team-wide communication. Think of them as your digital bulletin board - one message that reaches everyone through multiple channels simultaneously.

Channels section
- Permanent record in Announcements channel
- Chronological list of all announcements, with the pinned announcement (if any) first
- Athletes can reference anytime
- Never expires or disappears
- Athletes and parents can react to an announcement (see Reactions)
Pin an announcement
Pin one existing announcement so it shows first for everyone who could already see it. Pinning does not change who can see it, and it does not send it to anyone new. A pinned announcement sits at the top of the Announcements feed in both the mobile app and the athlete portal, so a schedule change or a deadline is not buried by newer posts. Open the announcement in your Inbox (the Announcements channel filters to them), click the ⋯ menu at the top right of the conversation, and choose Pin Announcement. The same menu holds Edit Announcement and Delete Announcement.Reactions
Athletes and parents can acknowledge an announcement with a reaction. Under each announcement they see a fixed row of four chips:Managing announcements
Viewing sent announcements
- All sent announcements appear in your Inbox
- Filter by “Announcements” tab to see only broadcasts
- Click any announcement to see details and recipients
Editing announcements
Open the announcement, click ⋯ at the top right, and choose Edit Announcement to fix a typo or update details. Edits change what athletes see in the app going forward; emails and push notifications that already went out are not recalled.Deleting announcements
Unlike messages, announcements CAN be deleted. Open the announcement, click ⋯, and choose Delete Announcement:- Removes from your Inbox view
- Does NOT remove from athletes’ Channels or emails already sent
Tracking engagement
- No read receipts available
- Reaction count pills show how many people acknowledged the announcement (see Reactions)
- Consider adding “React 👍 to confirm” for important updates
