Required for: Done-for-You Paid Ads power-up
This guide walks you through giving CoachIQ permission to manage your Meta ad campaigns through the Done-for-You Ads power-up. The process takes about 5 minutes and uses Meta’s official Partner system — no passwords or personal account access is shared.

Before you start

Make sure you have:
  • Admin access to your Meta Business Manager
  • An Ad Account already created in that Business Manager
  • A Facebook Page connected to your business
Don’t have a Business Manager yet? Go to business.facebook.com and click Create Account. You’ll need to add your ad account and page before continuing.
Use a desktop browser. The Meta Business Suite mobile app doesn’t support partner access. You’ll also need two-factor authentication enabled on your Facebook account — Meta may block the partner add otherwise. Turn it on at Account Center → Password and security before starting.

Grant access

1

Open Business Settings

  1. Go to business.facebook.com
  2. In the left sidebar, click the Settings gear icon (bottom-left corner)
  3. You are now in Business Settings
2

Navigate to Partners

  1. In the left menu, scroll down to Accounts
  2. Click Partners
  3. Click the blue Add button
  4. Select “Give a partner access to your assets”
Choose “Give a partner access to your assets” — NOT “Ask a partner to share their assets with you.” These are two different options and the wrong one won’t work.
3

Enter CoachIQ's Partner ID

In the field labeled Partner Business ID, enter:
24353215757671699
Click Next to confirm. You should see CoachIQ appear as the verified business. Click Next again to proceed to asset assignment.
4

Assign your ad account

  1. Under Ad Accounts, locate your ad account in the list
  2. Toggle it on
  3. Set the permission level to Advertiser (recommended) or Admin if your CoachIQ onboarding team specified Admin
  4. Click Save
If you don’t see your ad account here, it may not be connected to your Business Manager yet. Go to Accounts → Ad Accounts and add it before continuing.
5

Assign your Facebook Page

  1. Under Pages, locate your Facebook Page
  2. Toggle it on
  3. Enable the following permissions:
    • Create content
    • Manage ads
    • View performance
  4. Click Save
Your Instagram account does not need to be added separately. As long as your Instagram is connected to the Facebook Page, CoachIQ will be able to run ads on both placements.
6

Assign your Meta Pixel (or let us create one)

The Meta Pixel is the tracking code that lives on your website and tells Meta which ad clicks turn into bookings, signups, or sales. CoachIQ needs access to your pixel so we can pull the code and install it on your site — and so your campaigns can actually optimize for results. If you already have a pixel:
  1. In the asset list, click Data Sources → Pixels (sometimes labeled Datasets)
  2. Select the pixel used on your website
  3. Toggle it on and grant Manage pixel access
  4. Click Save
Don’t have a pixel yet? No action needed in this step. Once you’ve completed the previous steps, your CoachIQ team will create one inside your Business Manager and install the code on your website for you. The pixel stays in your account — you own it permanently.
Why this matters: Without pixel access, CoachIQ can’t install tracking on your site, can’t see which ads drive conversions, and can’t optimize campaigns or build lookalike audiences. Ads will still run — but they won’t get smarter, and you won’t know what’s working.
You’re done! Once your assets are assigned, CoachIQ will automatically have access — no invitation email needs to be accepted. Your onboarding team will confirm receipt and begin campaign setup within 1 business day.
What CoachIQ sees on their end: Only the specific assets you assigned — your ad account, Page, and pixel. They cannot see your personal profile, messages, other Pages, other ad accounts, or anything else in your Business Manager.
