Cancel Client Subscription
To cancel a subscription in Stripe, follow this step-by-step guide. This process is useful for managing your Stripe dashboard, particularly when you need to cancel recurring subscriptions for your customers.
Step 1: Access Invoicing
Navigate to Stripe Dashboard: Log in to your Stripe dashboard.
Go to Invoicing: Click on 'More' and then select 'Invoicing' to view your invoices and subscriptions.
Step 2: Identify Recurring Subscriptions
Find Recurring Subscriptions: Look for invoices with a recurring symbol, indicating they are associated with recurring subscriptions.
Step 3: Void the Invoice (Optional)
Select Subscription: Click on any of your recurring subscriptions.
Void Invoice: Click on 'More', then 'Change Invoice Status', and choose 'Void' to void the invoice. This step is optional and used for managing invoice statuses.
Step 4: Cancel the Subscription
Navigate to Connections: Scroll to 'Connections' and click on the subscription you wish to cancel.
Cancel Subscription: Click 'Cancel Subscription', choose 'Immediately' for the cancellation timing, and confirm to cancel the subscription.
