We are excited to introduce the new Credits feature in CoachIQ, a flexible system that allows coaches to manage and track athlete credits for scheduling sessions. With this feature, you can:
Track how many times athletes have scheduled sessions.
Monitor how many credits athletes have spent.
Allocate credits through products or memberships.
This guide will walk you through the complete credits system, covering both the athlete and coach perspectives.
Athletes can use credits to book sessions on your coaching website. Here’s how:
Select an Availability: Choose a time slot for the session.
Continue to Booking: Click “Continue” to proceed.
Credit Deduction Notification: Athletes will see a message showing their remaining credit balance, e.g., “User has one credit left and will be debited a credit if I complete and book this.”
Athletes and parents can easily check their credit balance:
Go to Settings: Navigate to the Settings section.
Select Billing: Click on Billing to view financial details.
View Available Credits: The “Available Credits” section will show how many credits remain.
Credits can be assigned automatically when athletes or parents purchase specific packages:
Navigate to the Payments Tab: Go to the Payments section.
Select a Package: Choose a membership or package, such as the “Gold Membership.”
Scroll to the Advanced Section: Find the Credits option within the package settings.
Set Credit Amount: Specify the number of credits (e.g., 8 credits for the Gold Membership).
Save Settings: Once configured, the credits will automatically be added to the customer’s profile when the package is purchased.
To keep track of each athlete’s credit balance and history:
Go to the People Section: Access the People area of your dashboard.
Select a Customer Profile: Click on the profile of the athlete you want to manage.
Check the Credits Tab: At the top of the profile, you’ll see a Credits section displaying:
Current Credit Balance: How many credits the athlete has.
Credit Log: A detailed history of credit activities, such as how credits were earned and who awarded them.
Example: A user may have three credits left, having received four credits from purchasing a “Youth Package 12 and Under.”
As a coach or admin, you have the ability to adjust credit balances:
Update Available Credits: Modify the number of credits an athlete has.
Add More Credits: Manually add additional credits as needed.
All updates are logged and can be reviewed in the credit logs for transparency.
To ensure sessions can only be booked using the appropriate number of credits:
Go to the Sessions Tab: Access the list of your available sessions.
Select a Session: For example, choose “Hitting Level One.”
Configure Payment Options:
Click on “Select Payment.”
Choose “Credit Price.”
Set Credit Requirement: Specify how many credits are needed to book this session (e.g., one, two, or more credits).
Update the Session: Click “Update” to save your settings.
Once set, athletes must use the specified number of credits to book these sessions, ensuring efficient session management.
The Credits feature in CoachIQ provides a streamlined and efficient way to manage athlete bookings and payments using credits. With this system, you can easily allocate, track, and adjust credits for your athletes, enhancing both the athlete and coach experience.
